Drangsnes is a small village in the western fjords, close to the town Hólmavík
The camp site has good toilet facilities and showers. Stores, swimming pool and a restaurant are close by. Drangsnes is a good stop over to the parish Árneshreppur which is about 90 km away. It is possible to sail over to the beautiful island Grímsey.
There is a playing field, hot tubs and much more close to the camp site.
The camp site has a coal barbecue. It is possible to rent the community centre that has seating for about 120 persons.
In the village Dranganes there is a good refreshments and accomodations as well as many activities.
