Description of facilities

The camp site is in a beautiful location by a small pond. There are showers, electricity, toilets and waste disposal for mobile homes. Tourist information center is open during summer time close by.

The historic connection to France is big in Fáskrúðsfjörður and the streets in the town have both icelandic and french names. The french houses were renovates in 2014 and the best known of those houses is the french hospital where the hotel is not. The town celebrates the historic connection with “french days” the last weekend in july early.
