Höfðavík is devided into four areas by trees. The area at the bottom is next to a beautiful cove.

The forest is a popular area for outdoor living with a diverse landscape. There is a family friendly tree collection/arboretum with over 90 different types of trees and bushes. There is also Hotel Hallormsstaður, a new hotel with 100 rooms and restaurant.

After four nights, a discount card is given, providing a 500 ISK discount per night off the full price for the rest of the summer.
