The camp site is by a lodge on a flat area at Valgeirsstaðir in the fjord, Norðurfjörður.
The toilet facilities er in an old sheepcote next to the camp site. A large coal barbeque is available. There is electricity and waste disposal for mobile homes.
A short distance is to the grocery store and swimming pool
A lot of exciting walking paths is in the area, such as hiking to the mountains Tafla, Kálfatinda, Munaðarnesfjall and Krossanesfjall. Also possible to take longer hikes such as to the fjord Ingólfsfjörður and around Strútur. The magical world of the shore is always fun to walk in.
