Next to the river Svartá, we have a beautiful campsite with Mountain View and lovely sound of the river.
Hot and cold running water and electricity. The year 2021 we had the toilets facilities replaced and the cooking facilities was rebuilt. 20 persons can sit inside in the house where the cooking facilities are.

Description of facilities

Bakkaflöt is a family-owned company that started in 1987. We offer a variety of accommodations. We have a 22-room guesthouse that offers cosy cabins with en suite bathrooms, double or triple rooms with shared bathrooms and made-up beds.
We also offer river rafting in West and East glacial river and Sit on top kayak down Svartá.

Free for children, 12 years and younger.
1000 ISK for electricity per night
500 ISK for shower and hot tubs (open from 9 am to 9 pm)
