The campground is located at the bottom of the mystical Álfaborg hill, in the domain of Queen Borghildur of the Hidden People. The campground is divided into a large field and tvo gravel lots. 40 electrical hookups are available in this area. At the other side of the road is Álfacafé, a quirky restaurant and Café. Five minutes away on foot you can find two other restaurants, a supermarket and a bouncing mattress. Adjaccent to the campground is a 9 hole Disc-golf course. Furthermore, Borgarfjörður eystri is the gateway to the fabled Víknaslóðir wilderness, a dense network of hiking trails with over 160 kilometers of marked trail. Development of mountain biking trails has started with trails already being available for mountain biking.
There are two service buildings. In one is reception and a communal space with a small library as well as board games, as well as a kitchen and laundry room. In the other are toilets as well as two coin operated showers.
Opening time
Open during the summer. Reception is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
