Description of facilities

There is a large camp site at Hlaðir that can accommodate tents, folding campers, caravans and mobile homes. There is a ballroom that can take up to 120 persons in seats and is ideal for groups, conferences or meetings.

The war and peace museum has a unique story about the occupation from 1940 – 1945. A history that changed a peaceful fjord into a key factor for the allied forces in world war 2. Relics are shown that are connected to the history and culture of those times.
