Description of facilities

The Korpudalur Hostel in Korpudalur is in a nice old farmhouse which has been renovated into a Hostel. The Korpudalur Hostel in Iceland is located innermost in Önundarfjördur surrounded by high mountains.

Around the Hostel there are many possibilities for hiking, climbing and angling in the wild nature. A 15 km mountain hiking trail lies through Korpudalur and Alftafjardarheidi, an old traditional route. Many walking paths can be found by clicking here.

For birdwatchers, thousands of seabirds, sparrows, ducks and even eagles can be seen. At Isafjördur and Flateyri you can find activities such as swimming, hot pots, kayaking and golf.

On the camping grounds we have a small hut with two WC, a shower and sink for washing dishes.
