The Mosskogar camping site is located in a peaceful grove in Mosfellsdalur. It is a short drive from Mosfellsbær which is a part of the capital area of Reykjavík.
The Mosskogar camping site is located in a peaceful grove in Mosfellsdalur. The site is surrounded by trees that give good shelter against the wind. There are several electricity plugs you can connect to. There are showers, flushing toilets, drinking water and a kitchenette accessable to guests. Within in it you can prepare, cook and enjoy your meal.
There is also plenty activities near by such as a horse rental, golf course, nice walking paths and a museum about the only icelandic winner of the Nobel Prize, Halldór Laxnes.
Every Saturday from the beginning of july there is a vegetable market from 10-15.
