The camp site is next to the small pond on the left side at the entrance to town. The camp site has good facilities with showers, toilets, washing machine, electricity. At the nearby gas station is a waste disposal for mobile homes. Tourist information is open during summer time at the Icelandic war museum by Heiðarvegur.
