Conveniently located mere 250 meters walk from Langidalur, Slyppugil serves as both a starting and ending point for numerous hiking routes and bike routes. Among them are some of Iceland's
most famous trails, including Tindfjallahringur, Laugavegur and Fimmvörðuháls.
