Description of facilities

The camp site is located next to highway no 54, the road that leads from Borgarnes to Snæfellsnes. It is only about 38 km from Borgarnes. The camp site has good toilet facilities with a shower. There is also cooking facilities.

There are many natural wonders near by for example the volcanic crater Eldborg but the walking path to Eldborg starts at Snorrastaðir. There is a short distance to the rest of Snæfellsnes area as well as Dalir and Borgarnes.
