The boy scout center at Úlfljótsvatn is located about 50 km from Reykjavík. There are two main routes to get to it. One is the “Nesjavallaleið” where you drive from Reykjavík towards the Geo thermal plant at Nesjavellir. The other is to take highway number 1 from Reykjavík towards the east. Before arriving to the town Selfoss you turn left toward Thingvellir national park.
