The Urdartindur camping site is located at Nordurfjordur. It has a spectacular view over the fjord and surrounding mountain ridges. Not far from the site you’ll find a sandy beach where you can listen to the sea while the kids play in the sand.

On the camping site there is an old barn that has a large room that can hold up to 80 person. You’ll find tables, flushing toilets, dishwashing area and at the lower floor guests can rent up to 4 rooms with a bathroom. If you have an RV or a camping trailer you can hook up to electricity. Guests can take advantage of a BBQ pit. Close by at Krossnes you’ll find a swimming pool that is located by the beach and in a short walking distance to Café Nordurfjordur (Kaffi Nordurfjordur) where you can purchase food and beverages. There are several trails in the area with various difficulty levels. Only few meters from the camping site you’ll find a large sandy beach not to mention a spectacular view of the surrounding mountain areas.
In addition to the camping site guests can rent up to 2 small cottages that hold up to 4 guests. There are also 4 rooms in the loft of the barn that holds up to 3 persons and an old cottage that hold up to 6 persons. All of them have seperate bathrooms and showers. The camping site suits expecially well small groups and larger groups such as reunions and weddings.
