The camp site is spacious with a new toilet house as well as a service house where it is possible to cook as well as sit and eat. The area is a port of horse area with a riding hall and riding area. The Country tournament for the icelandic horse is held yearly here.
The camp site is a little bit outside of the village but still close to all services needed such as the swimming pool, shops and more. To get to the camp site you take a road next to Stracta hotel that is marked “Gaddastaðaflatir”. The camp site is on the left after 200 – 300 meters.
