CJA campsite is on a privat owned farm Hjalli. On the farm is also a small guesthouse, CJA guesthouse. The farm-owners also take part in the reforesting program in Iceland. Therefore around the campsite you can see growing forest. Bird life is rich. The staff is local and experts on this region and Iceland in general.
You can book a spot in advance through Parka.
In the service house there are toilets and showers in heated rooms but our kitchen/dishwasing room is unheated. Guests are encouraged to recycle all garbage and there is also a waste disposal. At the information board there are informaton on activities close by as well as opening times for stores and swimming pools. Our staff is also always on hand to help you in any way. To get to the camp site you turn from highway 1 on road 846 in the village of Laugar. When you cross the bridge you turn right. In the middle of the slope you turn right (south) into an unmarked gravel road and drive to the end, about 2 km. There are camping signs on light-posts at the bridge and in the slope to guide you the right way. By the Sport center/swimming pool in Laugar there is also a sign/map.

Adults (18 years and older):
- in areas A - F and L - M: 1.500 ISK
- in areas G - K and M: 1.800 ISK
Teenagers (13 - 17 years old): 500 ISK
Children (0 - 12 years old): Free
Electriciy plug for motorhomes (in ares G - H & L - M): 600 ISK
10% discount if you stay more then two nights.
extra 100 ISK each person for every started hour when checked out after 1 pm.
