The camping area is located next to Hotel Vatnsholt in Floahreppur, only 15 km east from Selfoss. Drive out from Selfoss like you are going east to Hella. After 7 km you will see a sign (road nr 305 ) Villingaholtsvegur, take a right turn. Drive road nr 305 for 7 km and you will see a sign ( road 309 ) Kolsholtsvegur. Take a right turn, then take the first left and drive that road to the end until you are here. Please go in to the reception to get more information about where you can camp and where the electricity is located. Welcome!
At Hotel Vatnsholt we have one of the best views in the South of Iceland. You can enjoy the views of mountains like Hekla, Tindfjöll, Eyjafjallajökull and even the Westman Islands. Villingaholtsvatn is in walking distance to Vatnsholt where you are able to go fishing. We have a great playground for children, for example a big castle and swings.
